Program overview
The Policy Innovation Lab is designed around the recurring challenges policymakers encounter in reform initiatives. Instead of offering a single roadmap, the program provides structured checklists of common barriers, warning signs of potential failure, and strategic options to overcome these obstacles.
The program emphasizes the importance of local context and sector-specific conditions in diagnosing reform challenges and designing effective strategies. . Learning is delivered through three complementary components:
1. Lecture and Discussion Sessions: Thematic sessions introduce key challenges and analytical frameworks for policy reform.
2. Case Method Learning: Participants analyze real-world reform cases from around the globe, engaging in role-play and interactive debate to develop practical insights.
3. Group Projects: Teams work on live policy issues relevant to their governments, applying course tools to craft reform proposals and present strategies.
