Education
Aseem Mahajan specializes in the intersection of energy policy, climate politics, and quantitative methods. He brings more than a decade of research experience, with publications appearing in journals such as the Journal of Conflict Resolution, the European Journal of Operation Research, Energy Economics, and Energy Policy. Prior to joining KSPP, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at NYU Abu Dhabi, where he examined corporate climate-related advertising and advocacy strategies on social media by leveraging AI-enabled platforms. His previous research on rural electricity markets in India surveyed 10K+ households across 200+ villages to reveal distinct consumption patterns and price sensitivity in traditional and renewable segments. Aseem received his Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University and an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University. Before his Ph.D., he worked in New York as a Consultant at PwC.
